my new project : a wedding scrapbook

i was thinking of my wedding the other day i really want to do a wedding scrapbook but it's gonna cost so much for the supplies but i guess if i buy them a litte at a time i can do it after all the whole thing does not have to be done in a day i got in a coupon trade 40 free photos from walmart so i ordered the prints thought i would start with that but there is just so many over 200 from the photoghpher i never even took photos of my honeymoon i just plain forgot oh what to do...... well when i do get my pages done i will take photos and show you all i have never scrapbooked so hope they can turn out as well as this one

it's the bannana bread that i made this week hopefully it turn's out better then mined did

Bannana bread

Ingredents

1 3/4 c flour

2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 c margine
2/3 c sugar
2 eggs
1 c mashed bannannas

Directions

mix all ingredents together, pour in a greased bread pan, bake at 350 F for 30 - 45 min

this lovely piece of fabric is from fabricland ( i know i shop there alot but it's the only place to buy fabric here that i know of) its flannel i love this piece of fabric might be good for a receiving blanket but i only have a meter so i would probably only get one and maybe some burp cloths but i don't have anything to sew it on



as for the harry potter movie it was quite good i recommend you go see it although its real funny it's a little freaky towards the end

the weekend, and bannana bread

well this weekend has been a good weekend for me i tried the first time to make banana bread i will note the picture here is not my banana bread my banana bread did not turn out so well it did not turn dark brown and it seamed like something was missing it did not taste like mom's banana bread not sure why ? i watched my mom for years do the same one i can not figure what went wrong well it was my first attempt maybe next time . well I'm gonna see the new harry potter film with my sister today i will let you all know how it is in case you all have not seen it yet but i won't spoil it for you either :) if any of you can tell me how to make good banana bread let me know I'm so ashamed (sorry mom for screwing up your recipe :( at least i tried ) tomorow is sunday stash so can't wait to show you more of my fabric stash ;)

another one of my own tutorials : spaghetti strap tank top alteration

the other day i went and bought this tank top so i put it on and the strap broke it had one of these creap plastic rings on it. now i did not want to return it so i decided to alter it so i thought i would show you how i did it as this could have happened to anyone

take the strap and take the stiching out where the loop was attached with a seam riper if you don't have a seam riper you may cut the loop like i did just above the stiches it will look like the picture

then cut the loop on the back of the top

then put the strap between the cut loop and sew it closed just below where you just cut it i hand sewed it so if you are hand sewing i would do a running stich across it a copple times so it will stay attached. you can sew it with a sewing mashine if you have one.

it should now look like this now repeat with the other one i did the other one the same i just cut the plastic hoop before doing the steps

i hope this tutorial helps anyone who has had this problem like me i just hate returning things

braided headband tutorial

today i found this great tutorial for a braided headband iam a real freak for headbands since i have long hair and i hate it in my face so if i can keep it back with a headband its a good thing ( sorry "martha" for quoting you) but untill i get a sewing mashine i can't sew any of this unless i sew by hand but most projects i see is sewen by mashine so i guess i wont be sewing much except mending and alterations on my clothes...LOL. here is the link for this great totorial on this lovely lady's blog
